Emergency First Aid at Work for Schools

This course is run over 6 hours (excluding breaks) and includes both theory and practical sessions. It has been tailored to address the specific requirements of the school environment, complies with legal standards and is in line with HSE, DfE and Ofsted guidance.

The training includes allergy awareness, the recognition of an allergic reaction and the identification and treatment of a severe allergic reaction. A demonstration on how to use an adrenaline auto-injector (EpiPen and Jext), prescribed for treating an anaphylaxis reaction, is included in the training and you will be given the opportunity to familiarise yourself with trainer devices.

 

Course syllabus includes the following topics:

 

Certificates are valid for 3 years and are regulated by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB). Delegates will also receive a comprehensive First Aid manual, which can be used to check and refresh knowledge.

£695 for groups of up to 12 people (quotes available for larger numbers).
