Training & Education Around Child Health
Delivered by highly experienced Registered Nurses
TEACH specialises in providing essential health education and training to all staff in schools, colleges, nurseries, preschool and early years settings. Our aim is to enable you to support all your staff to teach and manage pupils effectively, whatever their health care needs.
Our programmes cover the most commonly encountered and sensitive areas of child health that teaching staff, and the organisations they work for, will be required to deal with in the work place.
All our courses are delivered by highly experienced NMC Registered Nurses. To ensure the highest standards are met, our courses use evidence-based content and represent best clinical practice established on up-to-date research. They also meet OFSTED, EYFS and NICE guidelines and requirements as necessary.
Our education and training programmes simply and clearly explain important universal health related conditions and the effects a condition may have on a child’s education and care. We cover the vital aspect of how to administer emergency medication if necessary. Training includes risk management, health and safety factors and a full awareness of your legal responsibilities.
At TEACH we aim to leave you confident that you are providing the best possible support for those you employ and in turn, those in your care.
Delivered by highly experienced
TEACH training courses can be customised to meet your specific requirements.
We deliver training at your workplace during the day or as twilight sessions and at weekends.
A variety of teaching and learning methods are used including multimedia presentations, group discussions, case studies, practical demonstrations and supervised simulated practice.
With over 20 years’ experience in nursing, specifically in child health, I am passionate about the need to instil a culture that provides real support for children. Training courses should provide not just the technical expertise but also address the child and young person’s personal needs to really ensure they are supported with care and dignity and given every opportunity to excel regardless of health issues. This is the reason I founded TEACH. We provide training courses, talks and advisory services to schools, nurseries and early year settings designed purely around the wellbeing and care of children and young people
