Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do our First Aid courses meet both Ofsted and the new Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (March 2017) requirements?

Yes. TEACH is accredited and regulated by The First Aid Industry Body (FAIB) who monitor and assess our First Aid courses and processes. TEACH is also an Approved Centre of AoFA Qualifications, which is an Ofqual recognised Awarding Organisation.

Because TEACH is an Approved Centre of both FAIB and AoFA Qualifications this enables us to offer either a First Aid certificate that is accredited and regulated by The First Aid Industry Body or a Level 3 Ofqual regulated qualification. The course schedule and scheme of work is exactly the same for both types of certification and both types of certification meet Ofsted and the new EYFS statutory requirements.

For a Level 3 Qualification you will be required to sit a multiple choice question paper at the end of the course. There is an additional administration fee of £10 per person for a Level 3 Certificate.

What qualifications do the First Aid trainers hold?

All TEACH First Aid trainers are highly experienced Registered Nurses who are also Certified Adult and Paediatric First Aid Instructors.

We add depth to our course delivery by sharing best practice and examples of real life experiences, and we pride ourselves on our exceptionally high professional standards.

How does the E-Learning Blended course work?

Two weeks prior to your booked practical session you will receive a unique E-Learning code that will give you access to our E-Learning module. This module contains nineteen sections on Paediatric First Aid. You can log in and out of this module as often as you like and work at your own speed.

You will be required to complete the E-Learning module before attending the practical training. The course is internet linked and there are videos, diagrams and pictures to ensure you have a fun and enjoyable learning experience.

Certificates will be sent via registered post on successful completion of both practical and E-Learning modules.
