This 3 hour training is for anyone who supports a person with epilepsy and may be required to administer buccal midazolam for prolonged seizures; and has previously attended the full day initial training.
The course will update delegates knowledge and skills on epilepsy and seizure management; and in the safe administration of buccal midazolam. A practical demonstration on how to give emergency medication will be carried out and you will have the opportunity to practice in a simulated situation.
Ongoing assessment is carried out using questioning during training to ensure safety and delegate understanding.

A Certificate of Attendance is awarded on completion of the course and is valid for 2 years. A refresher course (3 hour) is recommended by ESNA every 2 years as a minimum requirement.
£350 for groups of up to 16 people (quotes given for larger numbers).
