This course is suitable for those who need to be First Aiders in the Workplace, in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. It has been specifically tailored to include children and be relevant to the school environment.
Our engaging and interactive First Aid at Work training programme combines two days of focused practical training with 4-6 hours of interactive eLearning.
Extended training on allergy awareness, recognition of allergic reactions, and the identification and treatment of severe allergic reactions is included in the course. A demonstration on how to use an adrenaline auto-injector (EpiPen & Jext) prescribed to treat anaphylaxis reactions, is also part of the training, providing you with the opportunity to familiarise yourself with them, using training devices.

Certificates are valid for 3 years and are regulated by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB). Delegates also receive a comprehensive First Aid manual, which can be used to check and refresh knowledge.
